Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine

Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine is Kamakura's most important chrine. Then, go down Komachi Street, a popular shopping street where you can enjoy local seafood, snacs, and souvenirs.

Hasedera Temple

Hase Temple is a home to the famous eleven-headed statue of Kannon the Goddess of Mercy, which is considered one of the biggest wooden statue in Japan.

Moving on from Hase Temple, go to one of the most iconic places in Kamakura, the Kotoku Temple with its huge bronze statue of Buddha.

Kotoku-in Temple and Great Buddha Statue

Have you heard of the manga and anime "Slam Dunk"?

Visit the exact same locations that appear in Slam Dunk includeing the Kamakura High School and the Shonan Shore to take pictures.

Enoshima Island

Enoshima, a small island located west of Kamakura. Access it by riding the Eno-den train, an iconic single track train. On clear days you can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Fuji.
