Gather at designated locations and board the bus bound for Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.

Depart Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal to visit the following by bus and on foot.

*Report at least 10 minutes prior to departure.

 

Tokyo Tower (40 min)
Climb to the main observatory 145m (476ft) high for a panoramic view from Japan’s second tallest structure

 

Happo-en (tea ceremony) (35 min)
View nature from every angle at the garden of eight views, which has carefully preserved

the beautiful Edo ambience throughout the centuries and enjoy a traditional tea ceremony.
Remarks: 1. When Happo-en Garden is closed, Meiji Jingu Shrine will be visited instead.

2. From Aug. 11 to Aug 22, due to tour arrangements, the tea ceremony will be held

at a tea room at the International Forum instead of at Happoen Garden.

Please be aware that tours during this period will not walk through Happoen Garden.

 

Lunch (90 min)
Enjoy barbeque at the Chinzanso Restaurant.

 

Imperial Palace Plaza, Niju-bashi Bridge (30 min)
Cross the symbolic double arched bridge which originally led to the Edo castle

before fires destroyed much of its wooden structures,

and the Emperor of Japan claimed the site as his official residence in 1863.

 

Sumida River Cruise (40 min)
Pass beneath a total of 12 bridges on the journey down the historically significant Sumida River,

starting at Asakusa and ending at Hinode Pier on Tokyo Bay.
Remarks: During the cherry blossom season (around Mar. 21-Apr. 13), due to congestion,

the Sumida River Cruise ride will be switched to cherry-blossom viewing at Sumida Park.

In addition, Sumida River Cruise may be unavailable without prior notice due to river conditions.

Changes in itinerary will be provided by the guide.

 

Asakusa Kannon & Shopping at Nakamise (40 min)
Walk along a colorful promenade clamoring with traditional food stands and souvenir shops,

leading up to Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple with a history of over 1,300 years.

 

Ginza (drive-by)
Drive through Tokyo’s most uptown, classy, and luxurious shopping district,

filled with towering department stores and a vast variety of brand name shops.

Arrive at Tokyo Station. Tour concludes upon arrival.
Remarks: The tour does not include hotel drop-off after the tour group disbands at Tokyo Station.
